Brandenburg Concerto No. 3, Allegro for flute ensemble

$ 13.50

Category: Brand: Product ID: 34313
Bach’s third Brandenburg Concerto was written originally for string orchestra and harpsichord, or for three groups of three string instruments and a basso continuo. It was premiered in 1720 at the court of Markgraf Christian Ludwig von Brandenburg in the small German town of Koethen. This recording was taken exactly at this place during a Quintessenz flute ensemble live concert! This arrangement highlights the competition between the three groups of instruments, as the original nine are reduced to five flute parts – a true Quintessence! The result is a firework of brilliant scales and arpeggios! It is a challenge for every part as well as a sheer pleasure.
