Description Mountain Stories: Volume 2 Mountain Stories is a fortnightly blog written by Simon Cubit based on a lifetime of research and personal experience in the Tasmanian High Country. It’s a unique series of historical musings and a collection of nearly 50 tales, the vast majority of which have never before-been published before about people, places, huts and events from that arc of country – from the Great Lake west to the Vale of Belvoir near Cradle Mountain.
