Born in 2012 during a GMHM expedition that opened a new alpine-style route on the west face of Kamet (7,756 m) in Pakistan, it has evolved over time without ever losing its DNA: being an essential piece of modern mountaineering. Robust from the start, it has reinvented itself with each new version—first becoming lighter, then adopting the new PFAS-free GORE-TEX ePE membrane*, while maintaining the same waterproof-breathable performance. After 11 years in our collection, this jacket has been updated with a design tailored to modern mountaineering. Still just as durable thanks to its outer fabric made of 100% recycled polyamide, the KAMET GORE-TEX retains its legendary versatility. The redesigned, helmet-compatible hood with precise adjustments and pre-shaped sleeves optimizes mobility on the wall.
